Winter Color Walk
There may not be many plants blooming, but that doesn't mean we can't find color in the Garden. Join us as we search out common, and some not so common, colors in the Garden.

Sweet Smells of
Indoor Gardens

Enjoy the peak of the camellias and fragrant olive trees in the Linnean House, as well as the sweet smells of early spring in the Temperate House.

Bird-Friendly Gardens
The birds will be migrating back soon, is your garden ready? We'll explore the Garden and learn what makes it friendly for birds all year long. Participants will take home bird-friendly flower seeds to plant.

Celebrate Sakura
Did you know that some trees also have flowers? Join us on a walk to find these spring flowering trees and learn why they have flowers.

Exploring the Sensory Garden
Do you think other animals and insects enjoy the sensory garden as much as we do? Let's use our senses and find out. Participants will take home a scented plant.

Insects are an important part of the garden, but what do they really do? We'll search the garden for insects and learn ways we can help them at home.

Plants supply us with food, but what else do we get from plants? Join us on a walk as we search high and low for plant uses.

Why do some plants live in the water? Join us as we explore the garden in search of plants that love the water.

It's beginning to look and feel like fall. Join us as we explore the Garden and look for colorful fall leaves to watercolor.

The Chrysanthemums are blooming, so let's take a walk and explore their colors and history together.

Why do some trees keep their leaves or needles over the winter and others lose them? Join us as we get to know some of the trees in the Garden by their bark, needles, or berries.
