Missouri people and plants take center stage as kids explore the natural world at the Children's Garden. Look for hands-on learning and family fun throughout the Children's Garden all season long. Bring your children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews and neighbors to where the adventure begins!

Closing Week Activities Sunday, October 25 – November 1, 2009

We will be making seed packets, giving away bulbs, and making buttons everyday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. In addition, we will have face painting on the weekends from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The Children's Garden is a great place for families to play. Interpreter-led "Germination Stations" enrich visitors' experience with discovery and learning.

Each year, the Children's Garden highlights an important individual in Missouri history. In honor of the Missouri Botanical Garden's 150th anniversary, the life and legacy of Garden founder Henry Shaw will take center stage in 2009.
