Henry's Garden 2009 Orchid Show

91st Annual Orchid Show

January 31—March 15, 2009

The Missouri Botanical Garden maintains one of the nation’s largest and finest orchid collections, including over 8,100 orchid plants in hundreds of varieties.

Some of the Garden's orchids date back to the early 19th century, when they were gifted to founder Henry Shaw. Others are familiar favorites, leaving the greenhouse just once a year to be publicly viewed at the annual Orchid Show.

In honor of the Missouri Botanical Garden’s 150th anniversary, the 2009 Orchid Show will be inspired by a Victorian theme.
