Horticultural Therapy Awareness Day. A pretty backyard may be one of the most obvious positive results of gardening, but it is not the only gain. Experience the numerous physical and mental benefits that plants and gardening provide! 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monsanto Hall, upper level of the Ridgway Visitor Center.

Great Green Adventures: Bird-Friendly Gardens. Birds will be migrating back soon—is your garden ready? Explore the Garden and learn what makes it friendly for birds all year long. Ages six to 12 with an adult. Great Green Adventures are held the third Saturday of every month at 10:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Meet outside the Children’s Garden entrance. $3 per child.
