Tower Grove House
Re-dedication

Sat., Oct. 29
11 a.m., rain or shine

When Tower Grove House reopens on Saturday, October 29, at 11 a.m. it will offer visitors a look at Henry Shaw’s Victorian country estate as it was when he lived there and planned what would become a world-renowned botanical garden. Closed in late 2003, the house has undergone renovation and more importantly, reinterpretation, thanks to the generous gifts of the May Department Stores Company, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph F. Gleason, and the Tower Grove House Auxiliary. Funding was provided via the Garden’s Stewards of the Earth campaign.
