Fujima Ryu / Nami
Classical and Folk Dancing

Fujima Ryu is a traditional dance, which you are invited to learn. These dances, selected mostly from the famous kabuki plays, are shortened and arranged for the instruction.

The special interests of the Nami dance group are regional folk dance (minbu) and regional folk songs (minyo). These traditional songs and dances are generally derived from daily work and activities of ordinary people. Many have become popular throughout Japan.
