Education Youth Programs—Fall/Winter 2008  Garden Kids (ages 6–8)
Over the river, past the wetland, through the woods and into the prairie—this seven-week series of Garden Kids will focus on native Missouri plants and habitats. Each class will include investigation in the Garden, a hands-on project and a healthy snack. Seven-week series: Saturdays, September 6, 13, 20, 27; October 11, 25; and November 1 from 1:30–3 p.m. Seven-class series:

Oaks and Acorns Intergenerational Program (ages 6–12)
The Oaks and Acorns Program is especially for seniors who want to spend special time with their favorite young person. Participants will learn about a plant, its history and uses. They will also complete a take-home project together. All classes run 10–11:30 a.m. Individual Class:

The Butterfly House’s BUZZ classes are springing up on Saturdays again. Each class is approximately 90 minutes. Class size is limited to 20 participants.
Individual Class:
