Summer Programs for High School Students

SAGE (Students As Garden Educators) Service Program
This program offers the opportunity to teach about botany and ecology in the Doris I. Schnuck Children’s Garden while fulfilling high school service requirements.

Children's Groups…

Are you trying to plan a unique and engaging field trip for your scout group, church group, latch-key group, day care, or camp? A custom-made experience can be created to align with your nature and plant-related curriculum or expectations. Available Monday–Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., September through July. Call Heather at (314) 577-5140 to find out more!

Chaperones are free and required for each group: 1 adult per 5 children.

Cost*:

Children (ages 5 to 18) $5 each (minimum charge $25.00)
Required chaperones free
Extra chaperones $4 per extra chaperone


*Fee includes a 90 minute instructional experience plus a take-home planting activity.
