Workshops by Design for Schools and School Districts

The Education Division offers professional development workshops tailored to your school’s or district’s needs. Options range from an orientation to education programs offered at the Garden to all day workshops here at the Garden or at your school with an emphasis on hands-on, investigative learning.

The Garden also serves as an official training site for GEMS (Great Explorations in Math and Science).

Professional Development Workshops at EarthWays Center

The two-hour to full day trainings on energy, solid waste and recycling, and air quality topics are available for all grade levels, including science, social studies, math, and communication arts content.
