Glass in the Garden, a unique exhibition of the glass art of Dale Chihuly, ended its eight-month run at the Missouri Botanical Garden on January 1, 2007. The exhibition drew 950,000 visitors and helped increase overall attendance to 1.2 million and membership to a record 41,000 in 2006. The Missouri Botanical Garden wishes to thank everyone associated with this unparalleled event, and especially lead sponsor Emerson.
Three installations by Dale Chihuly remain at the Missouri Botanical Garden as part of the permanent collection. These include:

• Sunset Herons, year-round in the Climatron conservatory
• Walla Wallas, seasonally in the central reflecting pools
