EcoNet The world's first computer network dedicated to environmental preservation and sustainability. One of the best-known and most comprehensive online networks of its kind. Contains links to politically progressive networks and organizations worldwide. Links are rated and summarized.
The Eden Project (England) Located in Cornwall, England, this global garden features 5000 species from around the world and the world's largest greenhouse. If you can go there, do! This place sounds fabulous, for the botanist and non-botanist alike.

The Man and the Biosphere (MAB) Programme Administered by UNESCO, MAB encourages interdisciplinary research, demonstration and training in natural resource management. Contains links to all 393 Biosphere Reserves.
The National Gap Analysis Program Coordinated by the USGS, Biological Resources Division, gap analysis is a process of assessing regional biodiversity through mapping and ecological modeling. GAP received the "Earth Day 2000 National Award for Environmental Sustainability."

St. Louis Invasive Plants Species Workshop In December 2001, experts from across the globe met in St. Louis, Missouri to explore and develop workable voluntary approaches for reducing the introduction and spread of non-native invasive plants, which are serious threats to protecting biodiversity and ecosystems in the United States and other countries.
