Missouri Botanical Garden: Plants in Bloom

Azaleas are at peak bloom and very showy in the English Woodland, Lopata Azalea and
Rhododendron, and Japanese Gardens.

Dogwoods are past peak bloom, but some remain showy.

The Giant dogwood (Cornus controversa) is blooming by the Tram path near the
east entrance to the Woodland Garden.

Fringe trees (Chionanthus virginicus) are in full bloom in many locations on
the grounds .

Many peonies are blooming in the Japanese Garden.

Many bearded iris are in bloom in the Goodman Iris Garden and should peak next
week.

Woodland wildflowers in the English Woodland and Kemper Native Shade Garden are
showy.

Pansies are in full bloom throughout the grounds.
