Missouri Botanical Garden: Plants in Bloom
AT A GLANCE
November 19 - November 26, 2004
-
Overall fall foliage color is past peak, though the Japanese Garden remains
very showy. Many Japanese maples, Kousa dogwoods, intermedia hybrid
witchhazels and Large fothergilla throughout the grounds still have excellent
color. A young Sourwood specimen in the Rhododendron Garden is very colorful.
Burning bush in the Japanese Garden are still brilliant.
-
Eastern witchhazels (Hamamelis virginiana) are blooming in the daylily,
woodland and Chinese gardens.
