Autumn foliage is developing slowly with peak color yet to come. Redbuds,
Yellow buckeye and Staghorn sumac are coloring in the Knolls. Tulip poplar,
Sassafrass and Yellowwoods in the Mausoleum are becoming showy, as are
Burning bush euonymus, maples, dogwoods, witchhazels and Black gum in the
Japanese Garden. Dogwoods along the tram path in the English Woodland
Garden have excellent color this week.

Don’t miss the fabulous Great Pumpkin Patch display of winter squash,
pumpkins and gourds in the Kemper Center Members' Entry Court Garden.
-
Tropical waterlilies in the Milles Sculpture Garden are still on display.
Their flowers emit a fruity fragrance in the evening hours.
-
Mums are blooming in many locations on the grounds.
