Missouri Botanical Garden: Plants in Bloom
AT A GLANCE
July 25 - July 31, 2003
-
Tropical waterlilies in the Milles Sculpture Garden are in bloom.
-
Daylilies are past peak bloom in the Jenkins Daylily Garden, but many are
still showy.
-
Roses throughout the Garden are showy.
-
Enjoy the rich aroma of gardenias (Gardenia augusta ‘Mystery’) in the
Shoenberg Temperate House. Look for the beautiful blossoms of the caper vine
(Capparis spinosa); the capers you eat are the flower buds of this
plant.
-
Impatiens (Impatiens walleriana ‘Dazzler Series’) brighten the beds
beneath the camellia trees in the Linnean House.
