Missouri Botanical Garden: Plants in Bloom

The fragrant Bottlebrush buckeyes (Aesculus parviflora) are at peak
bloom. Enjoy the magnificent grove along the Tram path just south of the
Climatron® Geodesic Greenhouse.

Daylilies are in full bloom in the Jenkins Daylily Garden.

Lilies are very showy in the bulb gardens.

Sacred lotus (Nelumbo nucifera) are starting to bloom in the Japanese
Garden.

Roses throughout the Garden are showy.

Enjoy the rich aroma of gardenias (Gardenia angusta ‘Mystery’) in the
Shoenberg Temperate House. Look for the beautiful blossoms of the caper vine
(Capparis spinosa); the capers you eat are the flower buds of this
plant.

Impatiens (Impatiens walleriana ‘Dazzler Series’) brighten the beds
beneath the camellia trees ) in the Linnean House.
