and Kemper Fragrance Gardens are very showy. Old Shrub roses in the Lehmann
Rose Garden are in full bloom.
-
Kousa dogwoods are flowering in many locations on the grounds.
-
Iris are in full bloom in the Goodman Iris Garden.
-
Peonies are past peak bloom, but some are still showy.
-
The tiled Moorish garden in the Shoenberg Temperate House is illuminated
by the vibrant colors of bright coral Geraniums (Pelargonium x
hortorum ‘Designer Hot Coral’, yellow Gerbera daisies (Gerbera
jamesonii hybrids), maroon Coleus (Soleonstemon hybrid ‘Oxblood’)
and chartreuse Creeping Jenny (Lysimachia nummularia ‘Goldilocks’).
Be sure to look for the beautiful blooms of the Pitcher plants
(Sarracenia species) in the carnivorous plant bog.

Enjoy the rich aroma of star jasmine (Trachelospermum mandianum)
in the Linnean House. Impatiens (Impatiens walleriana ‘Dazzler
