Missouri Botanical Garden: Plants in Bloom
AT A GLANCE
November 8 - November 14, 2002
-
Autumn foliage throughout the grounds is past peak, but still colorful. Maples
in the Japanese Garden are especially showy.
-
Chrysanthemums in the Pring Memorial Garden in the Japanese Garden are still showy.
-
Yellow daisies (Argyranthemum frutescens'Maggie'), purple Mexican bush
sage (Salvia leucantha) and rose colored cyclamen (Cyclamen
'Concerto Rose Pink Louisa') brighten the tiled Moorish Garden.
-
Enjoy the rich aroma of fragrant olive (Osmanthus fragrans) in the Linnean
House. The earliest of the camellias are blooming, giving a hint of the show to
come this winter. The bright blue blossoms of the Cape leadwort vine
(Plumbago auriculata) fill the windows.
