Roses in both the Gladney and Lehmann Rose Gardens are at the peak of
spring bloom.

Japanese iris are blooming in Seiwa-En and the Goodman Iris Garden.

Hydrangeas are particularly showy in the Shoenberg Temperate House,
especially the lacecap hydrangea (Hydrangea macrophylla 'Mariesii').
Also look for the beautiful bright orange blossoms of the Pomegranate
(Punica granatum 'Wonderful').

The rich fragrance of Confederate jasmine (Trachelospermum
jasminoides) wafts through the Linnean House. The bright yellow
flower spikes of the Canary Island broom (Genista canariensis)
surround the central water feature.
