Roses in both the Gladney and Lehmann Rose Gardens are at the peak of spring bloom.

Iris are past peak bloom in the Goodman Iris Garden, but many are still nice.

Peonies are past peak bloom in the Japanese Garden, but many are still nice.

Large-flowered Rhododendrons in the Lopata Azalea and Rhododendron Garden are past peak bloom, though some are still nice.

Carnivorous plants are growing and eating heartily in the Shoenberg Temperate House. Sundews
(Drosera sp.) and Venus
flytraps (Dionaea muscipula) are blooming. Hydrangeas are particularly showy this week, especially the Lacecap hydrangea
(Hydrangea macrophylla 'Mariesii').

Enjoy the fragrance of Confederate jasmine (Trachelospermum jasminoides) in the Linnean House. Showy Canary Island broom
(Genista canariensis), Flowering tobacco (Nicotiana sylvestris 'Only the Lonely'), Flowering maple (Abutilon sp.) and Impatiens
decorate the fountain.
