Roses in both the Gladney and Lehmann Rose Gardens are at the peak
of seasonal bloom.

Tardiva hydrangeas (Hydrangea paniculata 'Tardiva') are blooming in
many locations on the grounds.

The tall pink flowers of the Resurrection lilies (Lycoris
squamigera) can be seen poking through the foliage of ground covers in
many locations on the grounds.

Tropical water lilies in the pools in the Milles Sculpture Garden
are in full bloom.

The pools in the Swift Family Garden contain many unusual species.
Annuals in the beds surrounding these pools make a colorful display.

Cardinal flowers (Lobelia cardinalis) by the stream in the English
Woodland Garden are showy.

The sweet scent of Florida swamp lily (Crinum americanum) greets
visitors to the Shoenberg Temperate House. Look upstairs for the showy
Red bottlebrush trees from Australia (Callistemon sp.).

Colorful Impatiens (Impatiens walleriana 'Dazzler Series') line the
winding brick path in the cool shady Linnean House.

Only a few Daylilies in the Jenkins Daylily Garden are still in
bloom.

Don't miss the display of new sun-loving 'Solar' series Coleus in
the Lois Whiteside Franklin Flower Trial Garden at the Kemper Center for Home
Gardening.

Coneflowers and Compass plants are among the many plants of interest
in the Lucy and Stanley Lopata Prairie Garden at the Kemper Center for Home
Gardening are very showy.

Plants in the Christopher Biraben Butterfly Meadow at the Kemper Center for
Home Gardening are highly attractive to a wide array of beneficial
insects.
