Daylilies in the Jenkins Daylily Garden are in full bloom.

Roses in both the Gladney and Lehmann Rose Gardens are at the peak
of seasonal bloom.

The large planting of Sweet pepperbush (Clethra alnifolia) in the
Japanese Garden along the path bordering the English Woodland Garden
is very fragrant.

The Late bottlebrush buckeyes are flowering near the Piper
Observatory.

Hardy water lilies in the pool at the base of the Dry Stream Bed in
the Knolls are in full bloom. The Hardy hibiscus (Hibiscus moscheutos
'Disco Belle') growing by the stream are at peak bloom.

Cardinal flowers (Lobelia cardinalis) by the stream in the English
Woodland Garden are showy.

The large red blossoms of Hibiscus (Hibiscus coccineus) brighten the
Shoenberg Temperate House. The walled Moorish Garden features the
soothing splash of water and cool hues of lime green and yellow
flowers.

Colorful Impatiens (Impatiens walleriana 'Dazzler Series') line the
winding brick path in the cool shady Linnean House.

Don't miss the display of new sun-loving 'Solar' series Coleus in
the Lois Whiteside Franklin Flower Trial Garden at the Kemper Center for Home
Gardening.

Coneflowers, Rattlesnake master, Blazing stars, and Purple poppy
mallows in the Lucy and Stanley Lopata Prairie Garden at the Kemper Center
for Home Gardening are very showy.

Tropical water lilies in the pools in the Milles Sculpture Garden
are in bloom. The pools in the Swift Family Garden contain many
unusual species.
