Missouri Botanical Garden: Plants in Bloom

Daylilies are at peak bloom in the Jenkins Daylily Garden.

The fragrant flowers of the Bottlebrush buckeyes along the path to
the Mausoleum Garden are very showy.

Roses in both the Gladney and Lehmann Rose Gardens are at the peak
of seasonal bloom.

Lilies in both the Heckman and Samuels Bulb Gardens are very showy.

Oakleaf hydrangeas throughout the grounds are past peak bloom, but
still showy.

Black snakeroot, Lilies and many Hostas in the English Woodland
Garden are very showy. The tall Meadow rue by the bridge over the
stream are in full bloom. Cardinal flowers growing along this
watercourse are now beginning to flower.

Butterfly weed, Coneflowers, and Winecups are very showy in the Lucy
and Stanley Lopata Prairie Garden at the Center for Home Gardening.

Many plants are now flowering in the Heckman Rock garden, but the
Rose campions, and Evening primroses are particularly noteworthy.

In the Linnean House, Impatiens are in full bloom and the foliage of
the Rex begonias is very showy.

Visitors to the Shoenberg Temperate House are treated to the perfume of
Gardenia (Gardenia augusta) and the cool splash of water and color in
the tiled Moorish garden.

Hostas and Astilbes are showy in the Hosta Walk.

The view of the new Kresko Victorian Garden and the Kaiser Maze from atop the
Piper Observatory is spectacular.

Hardy aquatics in the pool at the base of the Knolls are showy.
