Large-flowered Rhododendrons are showy in the Lopata
Azalea/Rhododendron Garden. Azaleas are past peak bloom, but many are
still very showy.

Woodland wildflowers, Azaleas, Rhododendrons, and Silverbell trees
are among the plants blooming in the English Woodland Garden. The
many Columbines in this garden are particularly noteworthy. Watch for
hummingbirds feeding on the blossoms of the Red Buckeye tree along the
eastern path in this garden.

Tall Bearded Iris are becoming showy in the Goodman Iris Garden.
Some Dwarf and Intermediate Bearded Iris in this garden are also still
showy.

Look for the interesting double white flowers on the large Baumann
Horsechestnut tree growing near the Jenkins Daylily Garden.

The Fairy primroses are the showiest element of a very colorful
Linnean House.

The Temperate House is filled with flowers and fragrance.
Especially showy is the Bottlebrush (Callistemon acuminatus).

Azaleas are past peak, but some are still showy in the Japanese
Garden, while peonies in this garden are beginning to bloom.

Both blue and white Spanish bluebells are flowering in the
Mausoleum Area.

Fragrant Fringetrees are beginning to bloom on the grounds.

Pansies that overwintered in many locations on the grounds are
still very showy.
