PLEASE NOTE: WITH FROST IMMINENT AS THIS REPORT IS BEING PREPARED, MANY OF THE PLANTS NOTED IN BLOOM WILL BE DAMAGED BY THE FREEZING TEMPERATURES.

Mums are still showy throughout the grounds. The display in the Pring Memorial Garden in the Japanese Garden is very distinctive.

Autumn foliage color is past peak but still nice.

Roses in the both the Gladney and Lehmann Rose Gardens are showy.

Several reblooming Iris are flowering in the Goodman Iris Garden.

A few early Sasanqua camellias are blooming in the Linnean House.

Eastern witchhazels are now in bloom. Excellent specimens can be found at the south end of the Jenkins Daylily Garden and on the berm west of the Shoenberg Administration Building.

Ornamental grasses throughout the grounds are showy. Some of the best specimens are located in the Heckman Rock Garden, the Kemper Gardens and the large bed at the south end of the Knolls.
