Missouri Botanical Garden: Plants in Bloom

Azaleas throughout the Garden are at peak bloom. The displays in the Azalea/Rhododendron Garden, Japanese Garden, Lehmann Rose Garden and just north of the Mausoleum area are particularly showy.

Flowering Dogwoods and Redbuds are at peak bloom throughout the grounds.

The English Woodland Garden is showy, with many native wildflowers flowering in the understory beneath redbuds, dogwoods and azaleas. Paw paws are especially noteworthy this week.

Both blue and white Spanish Bluebells create a carpet of bloom in the Mausoleum area.

The Wisteria on Teahouse Island in the Japanese Garden is just beginning to flower.

Only a few tulips and daffodils remain in bloom in the Intensive Gardens.
