Schizolaena tampoketsana (Sarcolaenaceae)

Recently described during the course of the taxonomic revisions, it was known from only 2 collections from 1967.    University of Antananarivo students conducting D.E.A. thesis research rediscovered the species in 3 tiny fragments on the SW edge of the Tampoketsa d’Ankazobe and have transplanted seedlings to the Parc Botanique et Zoologique de Tsimbazaza.
