Here shown mapped on Simplified Geology (Du Puy & Moat, 1996), Pentachlaena latifolia (Sarcolaenaceae) is known only from the Ibity Massif, and recently described Perrierodendron quartzitorum (Sarcolaenaceae) is known only from the Itremo Massif.
